Slash Staffing is looking for a reliable, proactive Virtual Assistant to serve as the operational backbone for a growing US-based home-services business. In this full-time remote role, you will take true ownership of day-to-day administrative functions, customer communication, sales follow-ups, and field-service coordination. Working standard Eastern Time business hours, you will collaborate closely with the team to ensure incoming leads are nurtured, schedules remain full, and every customer receives attentive, top-tier service.

Key Responsibilities

• CRM & Workflow Management: Maintain clean, accurate records in Jobber, track leads through the sales pipeline, manage appointments, and ensure tasks never fall through the cracks.
• Customer Communication: Handle inbound calls, texts, and emails professionally, answering inquiries, scheduling services, resolving issues, and escalating complex matters when appropriate.
• Lead Follow-Up & Outreach: Re-engage inactive leads, follow up promptly on open estimates and service requests, and support outbound sales efforts to maximize booking rates.
• Operational Coordination: Organize digital files, calendars, and spreadsheets, while proactively identifying operational bottlenecks and helping streamline recurring processes.
• Marketing & Social Media Support: Schedule pre-approved social media content, monitor audience engagement and messages, draft simple graphics, and help coordinate responses to online reviews.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven track record as a Virtual Assistant, Operations Assistant, or Remote Administrative Assistant, specifically supporting a home-services, field-service, or appointment-based business.
• Hands-on proficiency with Jobber or an equivalent field-service CRM platform.
• Exceptional spoken and written English skills, with extensive direct customer-facing phone and email communication experience.
• High level of personal accountability, sharp attention to detail, and the ability to exercise sound judgment and prioritize tasks independently.
• Familiarity with standard digital tools, including Google Workspace or Microsoft Office, team communication apps (such as Slack), and social media platforms.
• A reliable, high-speed internet connection and a dedicated, quiet remote workspace.

Nice-to-Have

• Background in specific home-service trades, such as HVAC, garage doors, plumbing, electrical, or construction.
• Direct experience with outbound cold calling, sales pipeline nurturing, or digital lead generation.
• Practical skills in basic graphic design using Canva, alongside experience managing brand social channels and online reputation profiles.
