Accounts Payable Clerk (Part-Time)
Schedule: M–F, 10AM–2PM Central Time
Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Payable Clerk to support daily accounting operations. This position is responsible for invoice approvals, processing vendor invoices, reviewing employee expense reports, managing vendor accounts, and supporting project accounting functions in a multi-company environment.
Responsibilities
- Centralized inbox management — oversee accounts payable email communications.
- Credit card processing — monitor monthly company credit card activity.
- Vendor invoice review — code, process, and check for discrepancies.
- Project approvals — follow up with managers for project numbers and approvals.
- Vendor portal retrieval — log in to portals for invoices/statements.
- Expense report accuracy — review and approve employee submissions.
- Vendor records maintenance — assist with 1099 reporting.
- Month-end close support — accruals, reconciliations, and job cost tracking.
- Cross-team communication — collaborate with vendors, managers, and accounting staff daily.
Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Accounting or Business preferred.
- 4+ years of accounts payable experience preferred.
- Knowledge of project and accrual accounting principles.
- Experience with employee expense reports and multi-company environments.
- Industry background in engineering, consulting, construction, or professional services preferred.
- Deltek Vantagepoint experience is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and communication ability.
- Positive attitude, adaptability, and willingness to learn.
Pay: From Php30,000.00 per month
