JOB SUMMARY:

As a Licensed Medical Technologist at Medi Linx Laboratory, Inc., you will play a pivotal role in our laboratory operations. You will be responsible for performing a variety of clinical laboratory tests and procedures to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Your expertise and dedication to maintaining the highest standards of quality and accuracy will be crucial to our mission of improving patient care.

Willing to be assigned in Bacolod.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in medical technology or a related field.
  • Current state licensure as a Medical Technologist (MT)
  • Certification for Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) and ASCP or equivalent certification is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of clinical laboratory procedures, equipment, and instrumentation.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform a wide range of laboratory tests and procedures, including but not limited to hematology, chemistry, microbiology, and immunology.
  • Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring accuracy and reliability of test results.
  • Follow established protocols and procedures, including quality control and quality assurance measures.
  • Evaluate and interpret test results and report findings to healthcare providers accurately and promptly.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the proper collection and handling of specimens.
  • Maintain accurate records of tests performed and results obtained.
  • Adhere to laboratory safety and infection control protocols.
  • Stay current with advances in laboratory technology and maintain licensure and certification requirements.
