Qualifications

• Candidate must be graduate of BS Medical Laboratory Science/BS Medical Technology or BS Nursing
• Fresh grads and Under board applicants are welcome to apply
• Must be confident in his/ her phlebotomy skills
• Swabbing Skill is advantage but not required
• At least (1) year experience in the related field is preferred but not required
• Willing to experience career growth , be trained and learn new management skills

Job Description

• Ensure excellent customer experience from the collection of specimen to processing and release of result
• Obtains blood specimens by performing venipuncture and finger stick
• Ensures adherence to protocols at all times.
• Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations
• Can be assigned to home service, specimen center and onsite lab activities
• Can be trained to do administrative skills (Inventory, Customer Assistance, etc.)
• Adhere to Specimen Collection Protocol ( Blood collection (Venipuncture etc.), Specimen Collection (urine, stool etc.) , Swab collection.
• Ensure Specimen is verified with patient identity and adheres to the College of American Pathologists guidelines in preparation/ pre-analytics.
