Our Lady of the Pillar Medical Center invites competent individuals to fill in the Medical Technologist position.

Position Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology
• Must be a Licensed Medical Technologist
• Experience/training/internship in a clinical or hospital setting is a PLUS

Job Summary:

• The Medical Technologist is primarily responsible for performing complex tests on blood and body fluids to determine the cause of disease.
• He /She participates in all technical and administrative matters involving the laboratory, performs laboratory works, and ensures that the department is functioning based on existing standard operating procedures.
• Handles the inventory of reagents and supplies of the laboratory in the absence of the Senior Medical Technologist.
• Performs microbiological analyses to process patients’ specimens and derive accurate results.
• Responsible for the requisition of reagents, apparatus, and office supplies as needed by the Laboratory.
• Occasionally receives requests and accurately charges accounts accordingly and releases results for both Inpatients and Outpatients in the absence of the Laboratory Clerk.
