Medical Technologist Fresh Graduate jobs

The Medical Technologist’s duties and responsibilities shall be but not limited to the following:

• Perform phlebotomy.
• Properly ensure that laboratory tests are performed accurately from the time specimen was received up to the timely release of results.
• Implement policies and standard operating procedures of the laboratory.
• Verify a process for test method validation.
• Perform control and calibration of the machine as well as standardization of critical laboratory instruments.
• Follow policies and procedures on quality control of test method.
• Practice safety and infection control policies and procedures.
• Help develop a process for critical results reporting.
• Implement laboratory records retention and sample retention.
• Make an inventory of lab reagents, kits, and equipment.
• Coordinate with partner laboratories for send out of specimens and follow up timely release of results.
• Timely release of results with accuracy and precision using the laboratory tracking system.
• Process specimens both manually and thru automated machines.
• Participate in the development of new laboratory procedures and packages.
• Set up equipment, instruments, and apparatus required by specific laboratory tests.
• Perform trouble shooting, reporting of machine malfunction and coordination with appropriate personnel for repair of equipment.
• Observe proper disposal of laboratory waste and timely coordination with waste management provider.
• Observe appropriate patient relations.
• Participate in the center’s offsite operations planning and activities.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresh graduate

Pay: Php22,000.00 - Php23,000.00 per month
