Job Description:
1. Obtains blood specimens and collects non-blood specimens such as nasopharyngeal swab, oropharyngeal swab, etc. for laboratory testing.

2. Guides and instructs patients on how to properly collects specimens, such as urine, stool, sputum, etc.

3. Processes specimens to prepare them for laboratory testing.

4. Prepares specimens for reference laboratory dispatch and testing.

5. Resolves ambiguous and/or unusual test orders by contacting the physician of the order, pathologist, nursing station, or reference laboratory, as applicable.

6. Refers unresolved orders back to the originator for further clarification before collecting samples or processing specimens.

7. Makes the supervisor aware of unresolved orders.

8. Contributes to the general laboratory functions and institutional needs.

9. Attends regular department staff meetings and in service training.

10. Maintains compliance with laboratory and hospital policies and procedures, and safety practices.

11. Keeps work area neat and clean and restocks daily supplies.

Job Qualifications:
1. Graduate of BS Medical Technology or Medical Laboratory Science

2. Must have a valid PRC License

3. Can start as soon as possible

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php21,000.00 per month
