MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Safekeeping and maintenance of patient files and documentation.
• Responsible for checking the eligibility of member/patient to HCI Portal.
• Generates Philhealth Benefit Eligibility Form (PBEF) for every Philhealth transaction.
• Reviews and checks documents submitted by the patients/relatives.
• Prepares all documents to be signed by the relative/patient.
• Prepares certified true copy of clinical charts for all claims application.
• Encodes and generates Philhealth Claim Form 4.
• Calculates and deducts Philhealth allowable benefits based on Philhealth Case Rates.
• Coordinates with the Billing Staff for deductions and printing of Final Statement of Account.
• Responsible for processing of Return to Hospital (RTH) claims.
• Responsible for processing of claims (In-Patient, Out-Patient, and Hemodialysis) to be submitted to Philhealth Regional Office III through eClaims.
• Uploads documents through BIZBOX-Philhealth Information System.
• Performs other task that may be assigned from time to time.
