About the role

We are seeking Certified Medical Coders (IP/OP) to join our growing team at Shearwater Health. This is a full-time, remote.

Responsibilities

  • Review and analyzae medical documentation to identify the appropriate diagnostic and procedural codes
  • Assign codes in accordance with the latest coding guidelines and standards

Qualifications

  • Must be a bachelor's degree graduate of BS Nursing with active PRC license
  • Must have an active and updated medical coding certification: Certified Professional Coder (CPC) OR Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) certification
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in inpatient/outpatient medical coding
