About the Role

We are seeking Outpatient Coding Quality Analyst to join the Shearwater Health team. This is a full-time, remote role, offering a competitive salary and excellent benefits.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the highest level of accuracy in outpatient coding and clinical documentation to support precise data reporting and optimal reimbursement.
  • Partner closely with healthcare providers and clinical staff to streamline documentation workflows and resolve coding discrepancies.
  • Drive continuous process improvement with a meticulous focus on regulatory compliance and clinical data excellence.

Qualifications

  • Must be a bachelor's degree graduate of BS Nursing with active PRC license or any medical allied course
  • Must have an active medical coding certification: Certified Professional Coder (CPC), Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), OR Certified Outpatient Coder (COC)
  • At least 1 year of of recent and pertinent clinical/hospital or similar experience
  • At least 3 years of inpatient/outpatient coding experience
