Full job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical VA to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will act as a remote "shadow" to the provider, documenting patient encounters in real time in eClinicalWorks. Your goal is to alleviate the administrative burden on our clinicians, allowing them to focus entirely on patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • EHR Management: Navigate and update patient charts within eClinicalWorks.
  • General Medical Tasks: Prior authorization/Pre certification, referrals, fax inbox management, incoming/outgoing calls, etc.
  • Efficiency Tracking: Ensure all charts are completed and sent to the provider for signature by the end of the shift.
  • HIPAA Compliance: Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to all healthcare privacy regulations.

Qualifications

  • Experience: At least 1+ years of experience as a Virtual Medical Assistant (VMA).
  • Education: Background in Healthcare (Nursing, Biology, or Pre-Med) is highly preferred.
  • Clinical Knowledge: Strong mastery of medical terminology, anatomy, and pharmacology.
  • Technical Skills: High-speed internet (minimum 25 Mbps), a noise-canceling headset, and proficiency in eClinicalWorks.
  • Typing Speed: Minimum of 50-60 WPM with high accuracy.
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional listening skills and the ability to remain focused during long clinical shifts.

Requirements

  • Must have a private, quiet workspace that meets HIPAA security standards.
  • Must be able to work EST hours.
  • Fluent in English (Written and Verbal).

Pay: Php40,000.00 - Php50,000.00 per month
