Full job description

JOB SUMMARY
This role will be responsible for supporting the production and delivery of Global Rescue's analysis of security, safety and health risks worldwide. This role will involve ensuring that all written products for clients are accurate, timely, relevant and well written. The role will be based in Pasig, Philippines but will also work with employees in other Global Rescue offices.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Closely follow current world events
  • Analyze pertinent news stories for relevant content
  • Synthesize news articles and prepare for on-line publication
  • Support country-event database and process development
  • Gain a working knowledge of country, regional, and global issues
  • Provide contextual analysis for future reports
  • Assist in updating country intelligence reports on a continual basis
  • Support internal medical and security operations teams by providing information and alerts about potential events or issues that could impact clients
  • Conduct research and analysis in support of client requests
  • Assist with various other tasks as needed


IDEAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Excellent written English skills with ability to produce threat assessments and write analytical products tailored to specific customers
  • An engaged consumer of news and international affairs
  • Ability to identify international events of importance through multiple methods beyond the top headlines
  • Strong analytical capabilities to understand importance of international events and their impact on clients
  • An interest in the international intelligence and security field
  • Ability to work independently with minimal guidance
  • Attention to detail and follow-through
  • Efficient time management and organizational skills

LOCATION: Ortigas, Pasig City (Full-time onsite)

COMPENSATION: Salary based on experience + benefits
