Job Summary

The Patient Services Center has multiple divisions. The Medical Administrative Division is responsible for all patient concierge services including incoming and outgoing calls, medical records and scheduling for NCBI and Exodon’s Clinical Research Unit in NJ. We are seeking to fill an opening for licensed nurses for the following duties:

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensures that all doctor’s orders are being implemented with 100% compliance with the treatment protocols / SOPs
• To resolve all uncompleted orders and all existing patient concerns
• Primary Medical Representative’s responsibility includes; educating and offering general support to patients and their family members about the diagnostic and treatment services offered at the NeuroCognitive Institute.
• Medical record responsibilities include processing, requesting, faxing, mailing, printing and archiving all medical records.

Required Education, Skills, and Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS

• A registered Nurse, with at least 4 years of experience in medical administration; especially in scheduling or as a medical secretary
• Must be fluent in American English and have excellent written, verbal communication
• Pleasant interpersonal skills also are a must.
• Has a proven ability successfully interact with team members and patients.
• Excellent time and task management skills needed.
• Experienced and skilled with at least one practice management software program.
• Experience and skilled working with cloud based programs
• Home office option is available and candidate must be able to work mostly during US business hours.

The NeuroCognitive & Behavioral Institute specializes in diagnosing and treating cognitive, neuropsychiatric and neurobehavioral disorders in pediatrics, adolescents, adults and geriatrics. The majority of our patients present with neurodevelopmental based disorders, acquired and traumatic brain injury, as well as, neurodegenerative diseases. We are one of the leading cognitive neuroscience centers in NJ. NCBI clinics are located in Monmouth, Ocean, Morris, Somerset, and Essex County NJ. We also have a very active clinical research department conducting early-late drug development, functional brain mapping and neuromodulation research. Our Patient Services Center consists of 35 employee across 5 departments: Medical Administration; Finance, Marketing, IT and Central Research. Our clinical and clinical research faculty consists of 15 clinicians with a number of different specialties in healthcare and clinical neuroscience. Our clinics are affiliated with the RWJBarnabas, St. Clares, St. Lukes and the Atlantic Healthcare systems. We also have a partnership with University Radiology and use their MRI scanners throughout NJ for our fMRI and DTI imaging.
