Virtual Medical Scribe

Company: Core Virtual Solutions (US company)

Work Setup: Fully Remote, Work-from-Home

Salary: $1200 - $1300

Responsibilities may include:

• Document patient encounters in real time or from recorded sessions under physician supervision
• Accurately transcribe medical histories, review of systems, physical exams, and provider assessments
• Enter orders, diagnoses, and procedures into the electronic health record (EHR) as directed by the provider
• Ensure all clinical documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with healthcare regulations
• Assist providers by managing EHR navigation during patient visits
• Review clinical notes for accuracy, consistency, and completeness prior to provider sign-off
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and data privacy standards
• Communicate with healthcare providers to clarify documentation or clinical details
• Support workflow efficiency by reducing provider documentation burden
• Adapt to specialty-specific documentation requirements and templates

Qualifications:

• At least 6 months of experience as Virtual Medical Coder
• A degree or some units in any allied medical course (preferred but not required)
• Familiar with EHR/EMR tools in the US (Like Athena, ECW, etc.)
• Familiar with US Healthcare private insurance providers
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Tech Requirements:

Reliable high-speed internet, updated computer/laptop, webcam, and headset

Familiarity with tools like Google Workspace, Zoom, and scheduling platforms
