Job Summary
The Medical Records Officer ensures that all hemodialysis treatment sessions, lab results, and patient profiles are accurately recorded, securely filed, and compliant with health authority guidelines (such as the Department of Health [DOH] and PhilHealth in the Philippines).
Key Responsibilities
- Treatment Documentation: Coordinate, log, and update daily hemodialysis treatment flow sheets, session records, and nurse/physician notes.
- Data Encoding & Filing: Maintain both physical and electronic medical record (EMR) systems, ensuring data integrity and proper indexing of patient files.
- Regulatory & Billing Compliance: Prepare and encode patient data required for DOH licensing standards and PhilHealth dialysis claims or package reimbursements.
- Record Retrieval & Auditing: Pull patient charts for nephrologists, nurses, or billing staff, and conduct routine audits to spot missing signatures or lab results.
- Confidentiality & Security: Uphold strict patient privacy policies and data protection protocols regarding sensitive health information.
Pay: Php25,000.00 - Php28,000.00 per month
