Area of Assignment: Philippine Red Cross,Rizal Chapter Blood Center
Job Summary
- Perform various laboratory examinations on collected blood as mandated by the Department of Health on all blood units for transfusion
- Carry out proper storage and issuance of blood and blood components.
- Perform serological tests for out-patients and PRC staff referred by the NBC Clinical laboratory
- Perform the function of phlebotomist or receptionist whenever necessary
- Keeps accurate records and provides reports on laboratory activities
Qualification Skills:
- Registered Medical Technologist
- Preferably with minimum of 1 year practical experience as a Medical Technologist
- Experienced working in blood center is an advantage
