Position: Medical Records Assistant
Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Medical Records Assistant to support our healthcare team in managing patient records and documentation. This role involves organizing medical records, responding to record requests, communicating with healthcare providers and external parties by phone and email, and ensuring all documentation is accurate, complete, and handled confidentially.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organize, maintain, and update patient medical records.
- Process medical record requests and ensure timely fulfillment.
- Communicate with clinics, providers, patients, and other authorized parties by phone and email.
- Follow up on missing records and documentation as needed.
- Review records for accuracy, completeness, and proper formatting.
- Enter and update information in internal systems and spreadsheets.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA requirements.
- Track requests and document all communications and activities.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in medical records, healthcare administration, or a related field.
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
- Comfortable making and receiving phone calls as part of daily responsibilities.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and PDF editing tools.
- Understanding of HIPAA and patient confidentiality requirements is preferred.
Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday | 9:00 PM – 6:00 AM Philippine Time
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php35,000.00 per month
