Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable professional to assist with reviewing medical records, with a focus on gastrointestinal (GI) cases. The ideal candidate will have experience in analyzing patient charts, identifying key clinical information, and ensuring accuracy and completeness of medical documentation.
Qualifications:
- Background in nursing (Registered Nurse preferred, but non-RN candidates with relevant experience are welcome to apply)
- Experience in gastrointestinal (GI) care or related field is highly preferred
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and clinical documentation
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze medical records for accuracy and completeness
- Extract and summarize relevant clinical information
- Ensure proper documentation standards are met
- Collaborate with the team for any clarifications or discrepancies
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) systems specifically ECW
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Good communication skills
