Duties and Reponsbilities:

  • Support the Nursing Division in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) initiatives and emergency response activities.
  • Assist nurses in providing safe, efficient, and compassionate patient care.
  • Coordinate with the Head Nurse, Charge Nurse, and Staff Nurses regarding patient transport and other assigned unit activities.
  • Safely transport patients to and from diagnostic and treatment areas, including Radiology, Ultrasound, Endoscopy, Operating Room, and other hospital departments.
  • Assist in transferring patients safely between beds, wheelchairs, and stretchers using proper patient-handling techniques.
  • Assist nursing staff with postmortem care as directed.
  • Prepare, move, and set up equipment and treatment modalities requiring lifting, pushing, pulling, or repositioning.
  • Monitor oxygen tank levels, replace depleted tanks, and coordinate replenishment from the designated hospital department.
  • Deliver specimens, requisitions, charge slips, medications, supplies, and other documents or items as assigned, ensuring proper documentation and acknowledgment of receipt.
  • Assist in monitoring, receiving, and transferring medications, sterile supplies, instruments, and equipment within the unit.
  • Accompany healthcare personnel during ambulance transfers or emergency patient transport when assigned.
  • Maintain the cleanliness, orderliness, and readiness of patient care areas and equipment in accordance with hospital standards.
  • Report equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, or unusual patient conditions promptly to the nursing staff.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information and hospital records at all times.
  • Observe infection prevention and control practices, occupational safety standards, and other hospital protocols.
  • Demonstrate professionalism through punctuality, reliability, proper grooming, and adherence to the prescribed uniform and code of conduct.
  • Participate in continuing education and staff development activities to enhance knowledge and skills.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Head Nurse, Nurse Supervisor, or hospital management.

Qualifications

  • College Graduate of any course
  • TESDA NC II in Caregiving
  • Must have experience with Caregiving
  • Strong attention to details and analytical skills
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent customer service and patient care

Pay: From Php20,000.00 per month

Education:

  • Bachelor's (Required)

License/Certification:

  • NCII (Required)

Willingness to travel:
