Position: Medical Case Manager / Lien Case Coordinator

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Case Manager / Lien Case Coordinator to serve as the primary point of coordination between injured patients, healthcare providers, medical facilities, and personal injury attorneys.

In this role, you will oversee the progression of medical treatment, facilitate communication among stakeholders, obtain and review medical records, and ensure cases move efficiently toward resolution. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, can manage multiple active cases simultaneously, and possesses strong communication and follow-up skills.

This is not a traditional nursing or clinical case management position. Instead, it is best suited for professionals with experience in legal case management, personal injury coordination, medical records management, or healthcare administration.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate communication between attorneys, patients, healthcare providers, and medical facilities.
• Monitor case progress and treatment timelines to ensure timely follow-up and resolution.
• Request, obtain, organize, and review medical records and related documentation.
• Maintain accurate and detailed case notes, records, and activity logs.
• Track outstanding items and proactively follow up with all parties involved.
• Summarize medical information and treatment history for case documentation.
• Assist in resolving delays related to treatment, records requests, or stakeholder communication.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and documentation standards.
• Manage a high-volume caseload while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

Qualifications

Communication Skills

• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Professional and confident phone presence.
• Ability to communicate effectively with attorneys, healthcare providers, and patients.

Organizational Skills

• Proven ability to manage multiple active cases simultaneously.
• Strong follow-up and time management skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Medical Documentation Knowledge

• Ability to read and understand medical records and reports.
• Understanding of treatment timelines and healthcare documentation.
• Ability to summarize medical information accurately.
• Willingness to learn personal injury and lien-related terminology.

Technical Skills

• Experience using CRM platforms and case management systems.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office applications.
