Job Summary

The Cashier's task is to receive, account for, control and deposit all payments from patients either in the form of cash, credit cards, debits cards, manager’s check or co./personal check duly approved by the Administrator or Medical Director.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

The position holder shall undertake the following functions:

1. Complies with all hospital and departmental standard, operating procedures, rules and regulations, etc.; interprets and implements policies and procedures and standards of care; observes proper decorum and acts in accordance with standards of his/her profession.

2. Establishes and maintains proper communication lines and rapport with co-workers in the hospital (superior/peers).

3. Properly utilizes resources, materials, supplies and other assets of the hospital; contributing to ensuring that they are kept in good working condition.

4. Reports to the superiors for any irregularity noticed on any transactions.

5. Observes punctuality and come to work on time as scheduled.

6. Answer politely and courteously to patient/client queries.

7. Do tasks assign by the superiors from time to time.

Education

Graduate of any four (4) year Course preferably Business related courses

At least -6 months work related experience
