Medical Field Engineer jobs

• Install, test, and commission medical equipment at customer sites in accordance with manufacturer specifications and company standards.
• Conduct preventive maintenance, calibration, and routine inspections to ensure optimal equipment performance.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair equipment malfunctions in a timely and professional manner.
• Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers, including end-users, biomedical staff, and clinicians.
• Prepare and submit service reports, maintenance logs, and documentation after each service activity.
• Coordinate with suppliers and principals regarding technical issues, spare parts, and warranty claims.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, DOH, ISO standards) and company quality procedures.
• Train customers on proper operation, basic troubleshooting, and care of medical equipment when required.
• Support product demonstrations, evaluations, and installations during bidding or sales activities, as needed.
• Maintain inventory of tools, test equipment, and spare parts assigned.
• Observe proper safety practices while handling medical devices and working on-site.
• Perform other technical and service-related tasks as may be assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or any related technical course.
• With at least 1-3 years experience in servicing medical equipment or related technical field.
• Knowledge of medical devices, electronics, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs and service documentation.
• Willing to do field work and travel to client sites as required.
• Possesses good communication and customer service skills.
• With valid driver's license is an advantage.
