Full job description
We are looking for skilled and detail-oriented Medical Language Editors (MLEs) to join our growing team on a subcontractor basis. If you have a strong background in medical transcription or documentation and a keen eye for accuracy, this is a great opportunity to work remotely with a supportive and professional team.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit and proofread medical documents for grammar, punctuation, and British English terminology
- Ensure accuracy of medical terms, diagnoses, procedures, and medications (minimum 98.5% accuracy)
- Review documents for clarity, completeness, and consistency before submission
- Meet productivity targets and turnaround times while maintaining high-quality standards
- Adhere to strict data privacy and confidentiality requirements
- Clarify unclear dictations and resolve discrepancies through effective communication
- Conduct research to verify medical terminology and abbreviations
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuous training
- Collaborate with team members, auditors, and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow
Qualifications
- Graduate of Medicine, Nursing, Allied Health, or Communication Arts
- At least 2 years’ experience in medical transcription, editing, QA, or related field
- Excellent command of written and spoken English (British English preferred)
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and clinical documentation
- Tech-savvy and familiar with Microsoft applications and cloud-based tools
- Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail
- BIR-registered with the ability to issue official receipts is an advantage
Technical Requirements
- Computer with at least i3 processor (or equivalent) and 8GB RAM
- Reliable internet connection (minimum 50 Mbps)
- Noise-cancelling headset and webcam

Work Schedule
- Monday to Friday
- Shifts available:
- 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM (Philippine time)
- Minimum of 40 hours per week
