Full job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Medical Coder with strong expertise in denial management, charge corrections and professional billing.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurate ICD-10-CM/PCS coding of hospital encounters, resolving coding-related denials, performing charge corrections, and ensuring compliance with payer and regulatory guidelines.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in U.S healthcare accounts.
  • Experience in using EPIC is required.
  • Active certification: CPC, CCS, CIC, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of coding experience.
  • Experience handling coding denials and appeals.
  • Proficiency in ICD-10-CM/PCS coding guidelines.
  • Familiarity with EMR systems and encoder software.
  • Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • A backup work computer must be available to support operations in the event that the company-issued device is temporarily unavailable.
  • Minimum specification: Intel i5 processor or higher
  • A primary wired internet connection with a minimum speed of 50 Mbps is required.
  • A secondary (backup) internet connection with a minimum speed of 50 Mbps is mandatory to ensure continuous connectivity.

Pay: Php80,000.00 - Php100,000.00 per year
