JOB SUMMARY:

As an Inpatient Medical Coder you will join a dynamic team of coding experts dedicated to delivering exceptional coding services to our valued clients. Your primary responsibility will be accurately assigning medical codes, ensuring compliance with coding guidelines and regulations.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field of Allied Medical courses.
  • Minimum of 3 years of recent academic hospital experience.
  • Must have at least 3 years of recent Epic and Solventum (3M) experience.
  • Active Certification: CCS, RHIT, or RHIA is required (CIC may be considered if all other experience requirements are met).
  • Strong domain knowledge in Coding Clinics.
  • Good exposure in ICD Guidelines and new born charts
  • Hands-on exposure to MS-DRG, APR-DRG, PCS, PDX sections, and CC/MCC sections.
  • Should have experience with a 3M or medical coding tool and be willing to take an online or onsite assessment
