Job Purpose

• Ensures the completeness and accuracy of inpatient and outpatient charts through timely review. Promotes compliance with clinical pathways by facilitating daily pathway activation, monitoring pathway utilization and variances, supporting fall prevention initiatives, and ensuring proper patient and family education, family conferences, and complete documentation. Prepares compliance summaries and percentage reports for all monitored data elements to support quality improvement and patient care standards.

Task

• Promote cost-efficiency in departmental operations by implementing recycling practices and initiating cost-saving measures such as turning off lights and equipment when not in use.
• Monitor supply utilization by reconciling actual supplies consumed with the supplies requested or allotted each month to ensure proper inventory control.
• Safeguard assigned equipment, furniture, and fixtures by maintaining proper use and accountability to prevent loss or damage.
• Ensure customer satisfaction by promptly and appropriately responding to requests and queries from internal and external customers.
• Handle and resolve customer complaints within the assigned level of responsibility and within the prescribed turnaround time and escalate concerns to the immediate superior when necessary.
• Review patient charts upon admission by verifying the presence of required data elements (e.g., PAOS, ALOS, PDAF) within the prescribed turnaround time of 8–24 hours.
• Conduct final chart review upon patient discharge by confirming completeness of documentation including signatures, diagnosis, operation notes, discharge summaries, and properly dated and timed entries.
• Analyze and report documentation compliance by summarizing chart documentation compliance rates according to the roles of healthcare providers.
• Prepare and submit monthly summary reports detailing chart deficiencies and monitoring of data elements by clinical department and attending physicians to ensure timely compliance tracking.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of allied-medical course or Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Level in any course
• Must have at least one or two years work-related experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php13,000.00 - Php15,000.00 per month
