Job Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Medical Encoder to join our Laboratory Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately encoding laboratory results into the Clinic Management Information System (CMIS) while ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and confidentiality of patient records.

Key Responsibilities

  • Encode laboratory test results accurately and promptly into the Clinic Management Information System (CMIS).
  • Review and verify laboratory reports for completeness and accuracy before encoding.
  • Ensure all encoded data is accurate and consistent with laboratory records.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of patient information and medical records.
  • Coordinate with laboratory personnel regarding incomplete or unclear laboratory results.
  • Organize and maintain laboratory records and other related documents.
  • Perform other laboratory-related administrative tasks as assigned by the Laboratory Supervisor.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of any Bachelor's degree. Graduates of medical-related courses are preferred; however, applicants with backgrounds in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or other relevant courses are also encouraged to apply.
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Experience in medical encoding, laboratory, clinic, or hospital settings is an advantage.
  • Experience using a Clinic Management Information System (CMIS) or other Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems is an advantage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent attention to detail with fast and accurate data entry skills.
  • Good organizational and communication skills.
  • Able to work with minimal supervision and under pressure.
  • Trustworthy, reliable, and committed to maintaining confidentiality.
  • Can start ASAP.

Pay: From Php19,000.00 per month
