Medical Virtual Assistant (Onsite) | Cebu City

HireBiz Med is seeking dedicated and detail-oriented professionals to join our growing team as Medical Virtual Assistants. We are hiring for the following specializations:

  • Medical Biller
  • Medical Scribe
  • Credentialing Specialist
  • Prior Authorization Specialist
  • Front Office Virtual Assistant

If you have experience in healthcare support, patient coordination, medical administration, or healthcare customer service, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound and outbound calls with patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies
  • Schedule, confirm, reschedule, and follow up on patient appointments
  • Perform insurance verification and benefits checking
  • Process prior authorizations for medications and medical procedures
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
  • Provide professional, timely, and patient-focused support
  • Perform role-specific tasks based on assigned specialization

Qualifications

  • High School Graduate (Old Curriculum), Senior High School Graduate, College Level, or College Graduate
  • Non-medical graduates must have at least 6 months of healthcare-related experience (Medical VA, healthcare BPO account, clinic support, insurance verification, prior authorization, etc.)
  • Medical Allied graduates are welcome to apply, with or without experience
  • Willing to work on a night shift schedule
  • Must be willing to work 100% onsite
  • Experience in insurance verification, prior authorization, medical billing, credentialing, or scribing is an advantage
  • Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills
  • Detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment
