Job Title: Call Center Agent for Cardiology office

Location: Remote (Columbia)
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay Range: 27,000COP - 40,000 COP
Bonus: If you sccucesfully score above average for your 3 month review; you will recieve a 800,000 COP.

Position Overview

We are a U.S.-based cardiology practice seeking an experienced Call Center Agent to support patients with appointment scheduling, rescheduling, message handling.

Important: You must be able to overlap with U.S. Pacific Time business hours and WISE account for compensation.

MUST have: Access to strong internet, quite space and updated computer.
MUST speak Spanish

The Remote Call Center Agent is responsible for managing high-volume inbound and outbound patientcommunications while delivering an exceptional patient experience. This role requires strong attentionto detail, efficiency, and the ability to follow structured workflows within a fast-paced medicalenvironment.

The ideal candidate is organized, accountable, and able to work independently while maintainingaccuracy and professionalism in all patient interactions.

Key Responsibilities

Patient Communication & Experience

  • Answer inbound calls using proper greeting and closing protocols
  • Provide clear, professional, and empathetic communication
  • Handle patient concerns efficiently
  • Maintain minimal to zero patient complaints

Scheduling & Accuracy

  • Schedule appointments accurately (provider, location, time)
  • Verify and update patient information
  • Properly identify urgent vs routine requests
  • Maintain minimal errors

Documentation & Follow-Up

  • Document all interactions in ECW (hub/notes)
  • Ensure notes are clear and complete
  • Follow through on all assigned tasks

Workflow & System Management

  • Follow THMG workflows consistently
  • Navigate ECW efficiently
  • Escalate issues appropriately

Productivity & Performance

  • 50–70 calls/day by 3 months
  • 70–90 calls/day by 6 months
  • Manage time effectively

Ownership & Accountability

  • Complete tasks fully
  • Work independently
  • Take responsibility for errors

Requirements

Experience

  • Call center experience required (medical preferred)
  • EMR experience preferred (ECW a plus)

Selection Process

Our selection process is simple and straightforward:

1. Resume Review
We evaluate relevant experience, including coding knowledge, cardiology exposure, and eClinicalWorks (eCW) use.

2. Assessment Test
Qualified applicants will complete a short, general (non-coding) skills assessment focused on attention to detail, comprehension, and work approach.

3. Interview & Practical Review
Candidates who perform best on the assessment and meet role requirements based on their resume will be invited to a live interview. During the interview, you will review de-identified outpatient cardiology documentation and share your assessment. Strong spoken and written English skills are essential.

Please note: only a selection of applicants will move on to the interview stage.
