Job Qualifications:

• Position Summary

The Medical Biller will be responsible for managing claims submission, payment posting, denial management, and insurance collections to ensure accurate and timely reimbursement. This is a fully remote position requiring strong attention to detail, payer knowledge, and independent workflow management.

Key Responsibilities

• Submit clean claims electronically to Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payers
• Perform insurance follow-up and collections on outstanding accounts
• Investigate and resolve claim denials and underpayments
• Post payments and adjustments accurately
• Work aging reports and maintain AR targets
• Communicate with payers and provider offices regarding claim status
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and data security standards

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of medical billing experience (required)
• Strong experience with insurance follow-up and collections
• Knowledge of Medicare and commercial payer guidelines
• Familiarity with clearinghouses and practice management systems
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Strong organizational and communication skills

Preferred

• Experience with home health preferred

Shift: Must be able to work US Pacific Coast Time zone.
