Medical Concierge

The Medical Concierge Associate is responsible for managing Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) requirements for outpatient services. This position coordinates with patients, HMO providers, and internal hospital departments to ensure accurate verification of coverage, timely, authorization, and smooth outpatient service delivery. The role supports a positive patient experience while ensuring compliance with hospital policies and HMO guidelines.

Accountabilities & Responsibilities

1. Verify HMO membership, benefits, and eligibility for outpatient consultations and diagnostic procedures request, process, and validate Letters of Authorization (LOA) for outpatient services through HMO portals, email, POS, or kiosk systems.

2. Explain outpatient coverage, limitations, and possible co-payments to patients clearly and professionally.

3. Coordinate with Patient Service Coordinators (PSC) for posting of approved outpatient charges and generation of Statement of Account (SOA)

4. Endorse approves outpatient cases to clinics, diagnostic units, and other outpatient service areas.

5. Monitor and follow up pending outpatient HMO approvals and document outcomes accordingly.

6. Maintain accurate and organized outpatient HMO records for billing, audit, and reporting purposes.

7. Ensure compliance with hospital SOPs and HMO policies at all times.

Qualifications:

· A Bachelor’s degree graduate with a background in healthcare services.

· Experience in outpatient hospital operations, front desk, or patient assistance

· Familiarity with HMO portals, LOA processing, and outpatient billing workflows.

· Experience coordination with clinics, diagnostics units, and billing departments

· Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.

· Basic knowledge of medical terms related to outpatient procedures is an advantage

· Knowledge of hospital information systems (HIS), POS, or kiosk system

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php19,000.00 - Php21,000.00 per month
