Job Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse
  • Under supervision, he/she is responsible for delivering nursing care to patients within an assigned area.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Gives direct nursing care; identifies nursing needs of patients;
  • Plans, gives and evaluates nursing care; admits patient; Performs nursing activities such as oral hygiene, etc.…;
  • Takes and records vital signs; Observes medical sepsis;
  • Acts as liaison officer between patients and other hospital personnel;
  • Interprets to the patient and his family their roles in promoting successful therapy and rehabilitation
  • Prepares patient for, and assists physician with diagnostic, therapeutic procedures and carries out doctor’s orders.
  • Performs irrigations, catheterizations and gives enemas;
  • Administers and charts medications and patients’ reactions to medications;
  • Discharge patients; Performs post mortem care;
  • Performs other duties that may be assigned by the management from time to time.
