Full job description

Role Overview

  • Command & Engage the Room: Grab the attention of busy mariners and seasoned ship captains. Ensure high engagement, drive training attendance, and break down complex technical features into simple, user-friendly concepts.
  • Operational Onboarding Tracking: Manage a rigorous training schedule, track rapid crew changes , and monitor fleet-wide training completion progress.
  • Documentation & Feedback Loop: Keep detailed follow-up records for every session. Act as the bridge between the ship and the tech team by gathering real-world user feedback and reporting anomalies.

Qualifications & ExperienceCore Requirements:

  • Engaging & Commanding Presence: You must be highly confident and capable of "holding a room." You are comfortable speaking with authority, controlling a virtual training environment, and managing strong, experienced personalities (such as ship Captains).

  • Agile Startup Mindset: Possesses a fast-paced, high-impact startup attitude. You are adaptable, resilient under pressure, and comfortable with evolving workflows.

Preferred Advantages:

  • Maritime Background: Experience as a former Marine Officer or Maritime Training Instructor is not a must, but is a major advantage.
  • Alternative Backgrounds: If non-maritime, 3 years of experience as a Technical Trainer, Customer Onboarding Specialist, or Process Trainer onboarding operational users onto specialized software (e.g., Logistics, Aviation, Manufacturing)
