DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collect soiled linens from hospital departments according to the established schedule.
  • Sort, count, and prepare linens for laundry processing.
  • Receive, inspect, count, and store clean linens from the laundry provider.
  • Distribute clean linens to different hospital units based on their requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of linen inventory, issuance, and returns.
  • Ensure proper storage and organization of clean linens.
  • Report damaged, stained, or missing linens to the supervisor.
  • Follow infection prevention and control (IPC) policies in handling contaminated linens.
  • Practice proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) while handling soiled linens.
  • Keep the linen room clean, organized, and safe at all times.
  • Assist in periodic inventory and stock counting of hospital linens.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • At least Senior High School Graduate or High School Graduate (depending on company policy).
  • Experience in linen, housekeeping, laundry, or hospital services is an advantage but not required.
  • Willing to be trained.
  • Physically fit and capable of lifting and transporting linen carts.
  • Knowledge of proper linen handling and infection control practices is an advantage.
  • Honest, reliable, and detail-oriented.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays
