About SureFire CPR

SureFireCPR.com

SureFire CPR helps people get the lifesaving training and certifications they need, when they need them.

We run a 24/7 CPR training operation so students can get real support, complete their certification, and actually feel confident doing it.

Our mission is simple: equip people with the skills to save lives. We operate across 100+ locations and are scaling to 1,000 before 2029, which means more people who can step in when it counts, for a coworker, a patient, a stranger, a child.

When a student calls for help, the person who picks up represents everything we're trying to do.

Who We Are

We help people save lives. That's it. 24 hours a day, every day.

Three values run through everything we do, including, how we hire, how we coach, how we lead, and how we show up for students. They're not a tagline. They're non-negotiable.

We Set the Pace. We move fast, get it done, and are proud of it. We take proactive, bold action and let nothing stand in our way. We’re resourceful, methodical and curious. We take others with us. We don’t wait to be told. We just go. Because the work matters.

Make It Simple. Simple isn’t easy - it’s a choice we make on purpose. We take the extra time to remove anything that isn’t essential, and we step back often to make sure we're still focused on what matters most. Because complexity is the enemy of execution.

Care Deeply. About the impact. About doing things right. About each other. We do more - the little bit extra that surprises people and makes them feel special. We never stop at “good enough.” Because caring deeply helps save lives.

A Note from the Head of Delivery

Our students are nurses, parents, coaches, teachers, first responders. A lot of them are anxious. Some are frustrated. A few are calling during genuinely hard moments.

The person who answers sets the tone.

We need someone who can stay calm, listen well, and give clear direction without making the student feel like a burden. Someone who follows the process, communicates with care, and stays with the problem until it's solved.

You don't need CPR training experience — we'll teach you everything you need to know.

But if you've worked in healthcare support, EMS, 911 dispatch, technical support, or any environment where urgency and empathy had to coexist, you'll get up to speed fast.

Here's what we're looking for:

  • You own the call. No deflecting, no passing the buck.
  • You communicate clearly, even when the student is flustered.
  • You follow the process and sweat the details.
  • You can be kind and firm at the same time.
  • You care about why this work matters, not just what the task is.

If that sounds like you, keep reading.

What You'll Do

You are the student's point of contact when something goes wrong, something is confusing, or they just need someone to walk them through it. Your job is to resolve it on that call, whenever possible.

Answer with urgency. You move first. You don't let confusion sit and turn into frustration.

Treat every call like it matters. Because to that student, it does. They may need this certification for a job, a license, a deadline.

Document everything. Accurate notes, correct dispositions, updated systems. The next person who touches that account needs to know what happened.

Bring problems forward. If you're hearing a question without a dedicated response in our system, that's a signal. You flag it so training can fix it.

What Success Looks Like

  • Students leave the call knowing exactly what to do next
  • Issues get resolved with you, not transferred to someone else
  • Every interaction is documented accurately
  • Recurring gaps in the process get surfaced and fixed
  • Students get the same quality of support whether they call at 2pm or 2am

How You'll Work

This is a 24/7 operation. Shifts may include evenings, weekends, holidays, or overnight hours depending on business needs. Reliability isn't optional. Students are counting on us to pick up.

You'll work closely with the rest of the Delivery Team:

Training & QA — When you spot a recurring question or a confusing instruction, you bring it to them. They build the fixes; you give them the raw material.

Facilities — When a location issue affects a student's experience, you document it and escalate it properly.

Dispatch Team — You communicate clearly with your teammates, share context, and help maintain coverage. No student falls through the cracks because a hand off was sloppy.

What You Bring

  • Strong spoken and written English
  • Experience in emergency response work — Emergency response, technical support, dispatch, or similar
  • A track record of helping frustrated or anxious people without getting rattled
  • Attention to detail and accurate documentation habits
  • Comfortable picking up new platforms and tools quickly
  • The ability to follow a process closely, and to ask when something isn't clear
  • An ownership mindset — you don't wait to be told to care

Helpful Background

Any of these will help you ramp faster, but none are required:

Healthcare or medical scheduling support · EMS or 911 dispatch · CPR, BLS, ACLS, or First Aid experience

What Won't Work Here

  • Guessing instead of asking
  • Transferring problems you could have solved
  • Getting defensive with frustrated students
  • Skipping documentation because it feels like extra work
  • Treating this like ordinary customer service

It isn't ordinary. The standard stays the same whether it's busy, slow, or 3am.

How to Apply

Record a Loom video — 3 minutes max — answering two questions:

  • Tell us about a time you helped a frustrated or confused customer. What happened, and what did you do?
  • Why this role with SureFire CPR?

We're not looking for a polished pitch. We want to hear how you communicate and how you think.

Upload your resume, your Loom link, and your written responses to questions at the link below.

In the "Anything else?" field, begin your first sentence with one of our values.
