We are looking for an experienced Dental Virtual Assistant with PROFICIENCY IN Dental PMS like: OPEN DENTAL/DENTRIX/DENTRIX ASCEND/EAGLESOFT/CURVE HERO/DENTICON (Receptionist / Insurance Verifier) to support US-based dental clinics.

In this role, you will be the first point of contact for patients—handling calls, scheduling appointments, and verifying insurance with accuracy and professionalism. You’ll play a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and an excellent patient experience.

Responsibilities

Reception & Scheduling

• Answer inbound calls and assist patients professionally
• Schedule, confirm, and manage appointments efficiently
• Handle patient inquiries and provide accurate information

Insurance Verification

• Verify patient eligibility and benefits (dental breakdowns)
• Ensure accurate documentation of insurance details
• Communicate coverage and limitations clearly to patients

Administrative Support

• Maintain and update patient records
• Ensure confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA standards
• Perform other administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months experience in a US-based dental clinic (REQUIRED)
• Experience as a Dental Receptionist or Insurance Verifier
• Strong English communication skills (verbal and written)
• Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills
• Proficiency in appointment scheduling and calendar management
• Basic understanding of dental procedures and terminology
• Strong attention to detail and multitasking ability
• Proficiency in ANY OF THE DENTAL PMS LISTED is a MUST
• HIPAA certification is a plus, but not required
• Reliable internet connection and a quiet work environment
