Full job description

  • Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment
  • Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat, etc.)
  • Operate meat slicer machine and ensure good plating presentation of meat
  • Wash vegetables thoroughly, especially the fresh lettuce that will be served to guests
  • Cook food in accordance with procedures from the training
  • Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen
  • Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
  • Monitor stock and inventory levels and notify the Manager to place orders when there areshortages
  • Reporting to the Restaurant Manager and/or Management regarding issues or concerns in therestaurant
  • Properly follow the operating procedures and policies of the company
  • Perform any other duties and reporting assigned by the Restaurant Manager and/or Management
