Job Summary

The Commis – Asian Cuisine assists the kitchen team in preparing a wide range of Asian dishes while maintaining high standards of food quality, efficiency, cleanliness, and kitchen safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing a variety of Asian dishes, including Filipino, Chinese, Korean, Thai, and other regional cuisines.
• Support senior chefs with the preparation of vegetables, meats, noodles, sauces, seasonings, and other ingredients.
• Perform basic cooking techniques such as stir-frying, steaming, boiling, and frying.
• Maintain cleanliness, proper sanitation, and food safety standards throughout the kitchen.
• Set up, organize, and replenish assigned workstations before and during service.
• Ensure all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, labeled, and handled in accordance with food safety guidelines.
• Assist with inventory control, stock rotation, and daily food preparation and production requirements.
• Perform other kitchen-related duties as assigned to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Asian cuisine is an advantage but not required.
• Basic knowledge of Asian ingredients, flavors, spices, and cooking techniques.
• Willingness to learn, with good kitchen discipline and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work efficiently and remain organized in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Pay: Php18,070.00 - Php25,000.00 per month
