Kitchen Designer jobs

Asiana Design Systems Inc. is a modular cabinet manufacturing company specializing in both high-rise and individual residential projects with ambitions to expand our business lines. We are seeking candidates to fulfill the role of Cabinet Designer (or Junior Cabinet Designer) to support our current work streams.

Ideal candidates should be artistic and detail-oriented, while also being responsible in site visits and able to work independently. In turn, candidates will have the opportunity to grow their careers with the company through learning and developing expertise in the modular cabinetry and wider furniture industry.

Responsibilities:

Successful candidates will have the following responsibilities on the job:

• Joining our sales team in meetings with clients to design and propose interior fittings for the project.
• Create both 2D CAD shop drawings and 3D design renders based on design plans.
• Create bill of materials for the agreed upon designs to determine cost of completion and project requirements in the budgeting phase. (Mentorship will be provided)
• Visiting the project site to take initial measurements, and inspect the design during installation to determine whether design goals have been met.
• Keeping track of hours spent and activities done to ensure that clients are billed accurately.

Qualifications:

• Candidates with 3+ years of work experience, preferably with site experience.
• Fresh graduates may be considered for Junior Cabinet Designer position
• Bachelor's degree or above in Architecture preferred. Interior Design or Industrial Design may also be considered.
• Proficiency in 2D and 3D rendering using AutoCAD, Illustrator, SketchUp, or similar design software.
• Should be open to travelling to project sites. Transportation and meal allowances will be provided.
• Experience in fit-out works and project management.

Soft Skills:

• Highly creative, imaginative, and artistic.
• Communication skills, especially regarding communicating an artistic vision.
• Responsible enough to work independently and track each projects' timeline and requirements
• Mature and level-headed to focus on project deliverables

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php800.00 - Php1,000.00 per day
