About the Role

If you build apps that last, not just apps that launch, we want you.

The Junior Mobile Developer maintains, supports, and builds PathBuilder's mobile and desktop applications. This role works closely with the CTO, the CIO, the QA team, and the web development team.

We are looking for skill, not credentials. Ifyou taught yourself, built something real, and can explain how it works and why you built it that way, we want to talk to you.

Key Responsibilities

Application development

• Maintain, support, and build PathBuilder's mobile and desktop applications
• Ship new features and fix bugs across platforms
• Manage app store submissions and release cycles
• Extend applications to new platforms as demand grows

Quality and stability

• Write clean, maintainable code that the next developer can work with
• Follow development best practices and coding standards
• Work with the QA team to make sure every release meets the standard
• Keep applications updated against new operating system versions and platform requirements

Platform features

• Implement content protection features such as screenshot and screen recording restrictions
• Build offline access and content download features
• Integrate with backend APIs and manage local data storage
• Team support
• Support the web development team on Laravel and Vue work when mobile and desktop work is light

Qualifications

Required

• A mobile app you have built and can walk us through. Published or personal project, both count. This is our most important requirement
• Cross-platform development with Flutter and Dart, or React Native with JavaScript or TypeScript
• Comfortable integrating RESTAPIs, handling local storage, and managing application state
• Working knowledge of Git and branching workflows
• Able to debug independently before asking for help
• Fast, self-directed learner
• Reliable internet connection and a suitable work-from-home setup

Advantageous

• Native development: Swift and SwiftUI for iOS, Kotlin and Jetpack Compose for Android
• Desktop application development for Windows or macOS
• Database fundamentals (MySQL or PostgreSQL)
• Laravel and Vue.js
• Experience publishing to the App Store or Google Play
• Push notifications, offline sync, or app performance optimization

No degree required. We care about what you can build. Self-taught developers, bootcamp graduates, and fresh graduates with real projects are all welcome to apply.

• You have never finished and shipped anything
• You need someone to walk you through every bug

What We Offer

• Base salary of PHP 25,000 to 35,000 per month, depending on demonstrated skill
