Reporting to: Store Manager

Targets of the Position:

Responsible for rendering assistance and exceptional service to customers to make sales and meet sales quota.

Job Description:

• Responsible in performing the duties and responsibilities as the second highest officer in the store.
• Responsible for managing the store including the store employees when in-duty and/or in the absence of the store manager.
• Expected to exhibit character with natural enthusiasm, and possess a high level of confidence, as well being and an individual who is able to work effectively under pressure.
• He/ She is reliable, responsible, motivated and detail- oriented.
• Perform other duties but not limited to ensuring that everything in the store is running as it should, with no loophole or lapses, when in duty and/or in the absence of the store manager.
• Delegate, supervise and direct activities and tasks to store employees
• Ensure that there is delivery of excellent customer service.
• Provide courteous and prompt resolution of employee and/or customer issues
• Coordinate display of products and attend to incoming deliveries as needed and/or in the absence of the store manager.
• Play a role in training and development of new store employees
• Ensure compliance of store employees to company policies and procedures
• Ensure maximization of sales and profitability
• Control expenses and maintain inventory and stock levels
• Ensure flawless execution of projects and programs
• Investigate inventory variations and shortages
• Create store schedule. Put up daily/weekly work schedule of store employees.
• Regularly review cashier accountability sheets and records as prescribed by the store manager
• Perform administrative duties as required by the manager
• Ensure high level of sanitation or cleanliness, security and safety of store; complying with all environmental and safety guidelines
• Report any issue of misconduct to management or the appropriate authority
• Directly participate in the merchandising and stocking of the sales floor
• Assist and participate in the development and execution of policies, programs, and practices, with customer satisfaction as the central objective of operation
• Ensure implementation and enforcement of the store’s established daily procedures and operations standards.
• Ensure proper entry of invoices into system including record keeping and avoidance of wastage.
• Perform daily computer entry and paperwork
• Conduct meetings with store employees in the absence of the store manager

Qualifications:

• College level/graduate
• Customer oriented and with strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Knowledgeable in computer applications
• With at least 2 years retail experience in a grocery or convenience store setup
• Can start as soon as possible

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From Php30,000.00 per month
