Position Overview:
We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and customer-oriented Cashier to join our team at Golden Bamboo Restaurant. In this role, you will assist customers with their orders, process payments, and ensure a smooth and positive dining experience for all guests. While previous experience is a plus, we are willing to train the right candidate who is eager to learn and grow with us!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers warmly and assist with order taking.
  • Accurately process payments through POS system (prior experience with POS is a plus).
  • Maintain a clean and organized cashier station.
  • Answer customer inquiries and provide helpful information about menu items and specials.
  • Handle cash, credit card transactions, and provide accurate change.
  • Assist with other duties as needed, such as light food preparation or restocking supplies.

Requirements:

  • Less than 1 year of cashier or customer service experience (restaurant experience is a plus).
  • Basic knowledge of POS systems (training available for candidates without prior experience).
  • Strong communication skills and a friendly, positive attitude.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Reliability and punctuality are essential.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
