Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Customer Service: Greeting guests, presenting menus, and taking accurate food and beverage orders
  • Order Delivery: Serving food and beverages promptly in accordance with service standards
  • Sales and Service: Providing menu recommendations, offering detailed information about ingredients, and processing payments
  • Maintenance: Maintaining cleanliness of tables and serving stations, and adhering to food safety regulations
  • Complaint Management: Attending to guest needs and resolving complaints professionally

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience: Previous experience in the F&B industry (restaurants, hotels, or cafes) is often required
  • Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and a professional attitude
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of service techniques, POS systems, and food safety standards
  • Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is generally required
