Japanese Restaurant Cook jobs in Manila

LINE COOKQualifications:

• Must have at least 1–2 years of experience as a Line Cook in the F&B industry.
• Experience working in a Japanese restaurant is required.
• Knowledge of Japanese cuisine preparation, food handling, and kitchen operations.
• Experience in sushi preparation and sushi making is an advantage.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen while maintaining food quality and consistency.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
• Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook menu items according to company recipes and quality standards.
• Assist in the preparation of Japanese dishes, including sushi when needed.
• Ensure proper food storage, handling, and sanitation procedures are followed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstation.
• Monitor food quality and portion control to ensure consistency.
• Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Assist with inventory, stock rotation, and receiving deliveries.
• Perform other kitchen-related duties as assigned by the Head Chef or Sous Chef.
