Caravea is an Australian marketing and tech company rebuilding how the caravan industry goes to market. Most caravan and RV brands are 10+ years behind on marketing — that’s the gap we’re closing, across a B2B agency (Caravea Creative), a consumer marketplace (Caravea.au), a SaaS platform (Connect), and a network of 100+ dealer and manufacturer websites.

We’re hiring a Senior Google Ads Media Buyer to own Google for a portfolio of Caravea clients.

This isn’t a normal media buyer role

You’ll work very closely with the Marketing & Growth Manager. You’ll own a portfolio of client accounts, work directly with the Lead Designer, create and review briefs before they hit production, and write the commentary that lands in client reports as your words.

We’re AI-first. Claude, Manus and Claude Code run through everything we do. If you’re already operating at 2–3x throughput because of AI, you’ll feel at home.

What you’ll own

  • Google Ads (Search, Pmax, YouTube, Display, Shopping, Demand Gen) for a portfolio of AU caravan and 4x4 clients
  • Conversion tracking end-to-end — Google Ads conversions, GA4, GTM, enhanced conversions, offline imports
  • Keyword and audience strategy across Search and Pmax
  • 70-20-10 testing across RSAs, video, display variants and landing pages
  • Weekly Pmax placement and search term audits — protecting spend from low-quality traffic
  • Weekly performance commentary that lands directly in client reports
  • AI workflows that compress hours of analysis into minutes

What you need

  • 3+ years hands-on Google Ads — Search, Pmax and YouTube, not just Search
  • 2+ years on AU / US / UK client accounts (AU a plus)
  • Strong GA4 knowledge — tracking events, conversions, exploration reports, audience builds
  • GTM, enhanced conversions and offline imports — comfortable from setup to debugging
  • Strong lead-gen background — you optimise for CPL and lead quality, not just ROAS
  • Daily active use of Claude, Manus or Claude Code — non-negotiable
  • Strong written English — your commentary is client-facing
  • Strong analytical thinking — when a Pmax campaign dips, you find the cause in search terms, placements or asset performance

Nice to have

  • Experience in caravan, RV, automotive, outdoor, or high-ticket lead-gen
  • Google Ads certifications (Search, Pmax, Video)
  • Shopping / Merchant Center experience
  • Call tracking integrations (CallRail, WhatConverts, etc.)
  • Familiarity with lead and offer frameworks
  • Comfortable in Figma to give creative direction
