What We Expect from You:

The QA/QC Trainee assists the QA/QC team in implementing quality assurance and quality control procedures to ensure that construction works and materials comply with approved drawings, project specifications, applicable codes, and company quality standards. The role provides hands-on experience in inspections, testing activities, quality documentation, and compliance monitoring throughout the project lifecycle.

What You Will Do:

• Assist in conducting quality inspections of construction works and materials to ensure compliance with approved plans, project specifications, and quality standards.
• Support the implementation of quality assurance and quality control procedures at the project site.
• Assist in monitoring and documenting inspection and testing activities in accordance with the Inspection and Test Plan (ITP).
• Participate in the inspection of construction materials delivered to the project site and verify compliance with approved specifications.
• Assist in monitoring concreting activities before, during, and after concrete placement to ensure compliance with approved procedures.
• Witness laboratory and field testing of construction materials, including concrete, aggregates, soil, and reinforcing steel, under the supervision of the QA/QC Engineer.
• Assist in identifying non-conforming materials and workmanship and report findings to the QA/QC Engineer.
• Help prepare inspection reports, material receiving reports, Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and other QA/QC documentation.
• Maintain and organize quality records, inspection reports, and testing documents for project reference and audit purposes.
• Coordinate with project engineers, site personnel, subcontractors, and testing laboratories regarding inspection schedules and quality-related activities.
• Perform other QA/QC-related duties that may be assigned by the QA/QC Engineer or Project Manager.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Materials Engineering, or any related engineering discipline.
• Fresh graduates and newly licensed Civil Engineers are encouraged to apply.
• Knowledge of construction materials, quality inspection procedures, and material testing is an advantage.
• Familiarity with QA/QC principles, construction standards, and engineering drawings is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills with keen attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; knowledge of AutoCAD is an advantage.
• Willing to learn, undergo training, and work in a project-based environment.
• Willing to travel and be assigned to project sites
