Full job description

  • Can easily adapt instructions from Engineer and Section Head.
  • Can determine defects encountered by the line by updating yield on a shiftly or daily basis on key stations and by summarizing it in a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Can analyze defects and problems within his/her area of responsibility and to provide corrective actions on a remedial and preventive approach.
  • Can fabricate or assist in the fabrication of tools or jigs that could improve processes and efficiency of the line.
  • Can check and ensure that all instructions and process standards are fully implemented.
  • Assisting Engineer in conducting technical evaluations and in the generation of evaluation reports.
  • Assisting Engineer in generating Engineering related documents such as Engineering Instruction, 4M Change, Engineering Change Notice, Work Instruction, Point Panel, Special Attention Notice and Process Specifications.
  • Assisting Engineer in gathering standard assembly time (SAT) of each stations and updating it whenever required by Superiors.
  • Assisting Engineer in the implementations of line balancing strategies to improve efficiency and maximize line capacity.
  • Assisting in accomplishing of technical requirements and requests coming from customers and suppliers.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of Vocational/Technical graduate
  • With at least 6 months experience as Process Technician
  • Knowledgeable in 8D, FMEA, APQP, Six Sigma, and other Process Tools like Minitab or JMP.
  • Computer literate
  • With good presentation skills
  • With strong communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skill
  • Technical knowledge in specific process/tool.
