Freelance Photo Editor (F/D/M)

YOUR ROLE

  • Image editing for preview galleries of various sporting events
  • Harmonizing the visual style of different photographers covering those events
  • Working hours primarily during and after the weekend
  • Developing and refining existing processes, presets, and visual styles in collaboration with colleagues and business partners
  • Collaborating within an international team as part of a larger workflow
  • Unite visual creativity with editing performance

WHAT YOU BRING

  • A keen eye for photos, picture styles, and image editing
  • Professional experience in photography and image editing (portfolio samples preferred)
  • High proficiency in reviewing and editing a large amount of images within tight deadlines while maintaining high and consistent quality
  • Deep hands-on experience with Adobe Lightroom Classic is required
  • Knowledge of darktable, Ansel, RawTherapee, Corel AfterShot Pro or other Linux-compatible Lightroom alternatives is preferred
  • Familiarity with command line shell scripts and Linux in general is nice-to-have
  • Interest in AI and openness to future technological developments
  • Willingness to work flexibly on weekends, good availability during working hours
