Job Summary:

We are looking for a proactive and tech-savvy IT Intern to assist our IT Department in maintaining hardware, software, and other systems. The intern will help troubleshoot issues, provide technical support, and ensure IT operations run smoothly. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in an IT environment and develop foundational skills in systems support and administration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software.
  • Provide technical support to employees via in-person, email, or phone.
  • Support in troubleshooting issues related to computers, printers, and network systems.
  • Help maintain inventory of equipment and IT supplies.
  • Assist in setting up accounts for new users and managing access control.
  • Perform routine checks on company systems and report irregularities.
  • Document processes and update user manuals as needed.
  • Provide support for meetings (e.g., setting up projectors, conference systems).
  • Collaborate with the IT team on projects, upgrades, and cybersecurity efforts.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Basic knowledge of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products.
  • Familiarity with Windows OS, Microsoft Office, and basic networking.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work independently.
