Full job description

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Network and Systems Administration

  • Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot the Company’s local area network (LAN), internet connectivity, wireless networks, private cloud infrastructure and related systems.
  • Ensure the stability, performance, security, availability, and privacy of the Company’s networks, private cloud environment, servers, and computer systems.
  • Perform regular system checks, updates, patches, backups, and software maintenance for on-premises and private cloud environments.
  • Assist in implementing and enforcing IT security measures, access controls, antivirus protection, and data protection protocols.
  • Coordinate with third-party IT providers, internet service providers, and system administrators when necessary.

Technical Support and Troubleshooting

  • Provide technical support and assistance to employees regarding hardware, software, printers, CCTV systems, internet connectivity, and other IT-related concerns.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, and peripheral equipment issues.
  • Respond to technical concerns through on-site visits, phone calls, remote access tools, chat support, and email.
  • Escalate unresolved issues to appropriate vendors or external technical providers when necessary.
  • Maintain professionalism and responsiveness in handling user concerns.

Hardware and Software Maintenance

  • Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, CCTV systems, routers, switches, and other IT equipment.
  • Install and maintain operating systems, productivity software, antivirus software, and business applications.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance and routine inspections of IT equipment and peripheral devices.
  • Maintain records and inventory of IT assets, repairs, maintenance schedules, software licenses, and equipment status.

Data Backup and Security

  • Perform regular data backup procedures and restoration testing.
  • Ensure proper storage and protection of Company data and confidential information.
  • Assist in monitoring system vulnerabilities, unauthorized access attempts, and potential cybersecurity risks.
  • Ensure compliance with Company policies relating to information security and confidentiality.

User Training and Support

  • Provide orientation and guidance to employees regarding the proper use of software applications, systems, and computer equipment.
  • Assist users in adapting to newly implemented software or technologies.
  • Prepare basic user guides or technical documentation when necessary.

Operational and Administrative Support

  • Prepare accomplishment reports, maintenance logs, and technical service reports.
  • Document all troubleshooting activities, repairs, and technical recommendations.
  • Support Company projects involving IT infrastructure improvements, system upgrades, and technology implementation.
  • Be available for occasional after-hours, weekend, or emergency technical support when operationally necessary.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or any related field.
  • At least one (1) to three (3) years of relevant experience in IT support, systems administration, or technical support.

Strong knowledge of:

  • Computer hardware and software troubleshooting
  • Networking fundamentals (LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi)
  • CCTV systems and surveillance equipment
  • Windows operating systems and common office applications
  • Routers, switches, printers, and peripheral devices
  • Data backup and restoration procedures
  • IT security and cybersecurity best practices
  • Experience in remote technical support and on-site troubleshooting.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple technical issues and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality of Company information.

Pay: Php25,000.00 - Php30,000.00 per month
