The Cybersecurity Engineer is responsible for supporting daily cybersecurity operations, administering security platforms, and ensuring the protection of enterprise systems, users, and data. This role focuses on incident response, identity and access management, endpoint security, network security, and user awareness programs while maintaining compliance with established security standards and SLAs.

Key Responsibilities

1. Security Operations & Platform Support

• Support day-to-day cybersecurity operations and administration of security tools.
• Monitor, triage, and respond to security alerts, incidents, and service requests.
• Troubleshoot issues related to security platforms, tools, and user access.
• Coordinate with IT and security teams for escalation and remediation.
• Ensure timely completion of operational tasks in accordance with SLA requirements.

2. Identity & Access Management (IAM)PingOne / IAM

• Support authentication and access-related requests.
• Troubleshoot MFA and passwordless authentication issues.
• Create, update, and manage access policies.
• Maintain Active Directory integrations and synchronization.
• Monitor authentication logs and investigate potential anomalies.

Privileged Access Management (PAM)

• Support management of privileged account access requests.
• Assist with onboarding and offboarding of user access.
• Enforce least privilege and role-based access control policies.

SailPoint / Identity Governance (IGA)

• Support identity governance processes and access certification reviews.
• Assist with user provisioning and deprovisioning.
• Ensure compliance with access governance standards.

3. Network SecurityPalo Alto Prisma Access / ZTNA / VPN

• Troubleshoot VPN and remote access connectivity issues.
• Monitor and analyze Prisma Access and ZTNA logs.
• Support configuration and maintenance of remote access security policies.

4. Endpoint & Device SecurityCrowdStrike / Endpoint Security

• Support endpoint protection and detection operations.
• Assist with alert triage and endpoint incident investigations.

Google MDM

• Manage device access including approvals and removals.
• Monitor device compliance and investigate compromised devices.
• Generate device and compliance reports.
• Ensure adherence to organizational security standards.

ManageEngine Endpoint Central

• Monitor endpoint inventory and patch compliance status.
• Support vulnerability remediation and patch management activities.

5. Email Security & User AwarenessCisco ESA

• Perform email message tracing and quarantine management.
• Analyze, release, and investigate quarantined emails.
• Manage sender/domain allowlists and blocklists.
• Perform email administration tasks including account unlocks and password resets.

KnowBe4

• Administer phishing awareness training programs.
• Manage user enrollment, updates, and campaign execution.
• Monitor phishing simulations and user risk metrics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Hands-on experience with IAM tools (PingOne, SailPoint), endpoint protection (CrowdStrike), and network security solutions (Palo Alto).
• Familiarity with MDM platforms and patch management tools.
• Knowledge of security frameworks and best practices (e.g., least privilege, zero trust).
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in security incident response and SOC operations.
• Knowledge of cloud security and Zero Trust architectures.
• Certifications such as Security+, CEH, CISSP, or equivalent are a plus.

Pay: Php25,000.00 - Php30,000.00 per month
