Full job description

1. Parts Procurement

  • Receive purchase requests (PR) from the Maintenance Department and verify required parts specifications.
  • Source truck parts, accessories, tools, lubricants, and maintenance supplies from accredited suppliers.
  • Visit suppliers, auto parts stores, and repair shops to obtain quotations and availability of items.
  • Compare prices, quality, and delivery schedules before purchasing.
  • Ensure purchased parts match the required specifications and truck models.
  • Negotiate reasonable prices with suppliers when authorized.

2. Delivery and Pick-up of Parts

  • Pick up purchased parts from suppliers and deliver them to the company warehouse or maintenance area.
  • Ensure safe handling and transportation of purchased items.
  • Coordinate with mechanics and maintenance personnel regarding urgent parts requirements.
  • Assist in emergency sourcing of parts needed to minimize truck downtime.

3. Documentation and Records

  • Secure official receipts, invoices, delivery receipts, and other required documents from suppliers.
  • Submit complete purchasing documents to the Purchasing Department or Accounting.
  • Maintain a record of supplier transactions, purchases, and deliveries.
  • Ensure all purchased items are properly acknowledged upon delivery.

4. Supplier Coordination

  • Maintain good working relationships with suppliers and vendors.
  • Monitor supplier reliability, pricing, and product availability.
  • Assist in identifying alternative suppliers for hard-to-find truck parts.

5. Compliance and Safety

  • Follow company purchasing policies and approval procedures.
  • Ensure no unauthorized purchases are made.
  • Observe proper road safety practices while operating the company motorcycle/vehicle.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and proper condition of the assigned company vehicle.
  • Immediately report accidents, delays, or issues encountered during delivery.

Pay: Php18,000.00 - Php22,000.00 per month
